Michael Ung, CEO of The Sarge LLC, Announces “BUST OUT THE BOX 4” Charity Event: Supporting Families Affected by the Government Shutdown

Colorado Springs, CO — Michael Ung, CEO of The Sarge LLC, has announced a major update to the November BUST OUT THE BOX 4 charity initiative. Originally intended to collect canned goods, blankets, and coats for the homeless this winter, the campaign’s mission has been expanded in response to the ongoing government shutdown and its impact on low-income families.

With many individuals expected to miss their SNAP and food stamp benefits next month, The Sarge LLC—in partnership with Wagon Wheel, AntiFamouz Entertainment, and The Robin Hood Initiative—will now focus on collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items to directly support those affected by the loss of food assistance.

“When times get tough, our community pulls together,” said Michael Ung, CEO of The Sarge LLC. “We can’t stand by while our neighbors go hungry. BUST OUT THE BOX is about using music and unity to make a real difference.”

The BUST OUT THE BOX 4 event will take place on November 15 at the Wagon Wheel in Colorado Springs, CO. This local multi-genre music residency will feature performances by:

Dalton LeFever
Hurricane Dave & The Storm Chasers

Attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods and non-perishable food donations to the event. All contributions will go directly to local families and individuals who rely on food assistance programs affected by the shutdown.

This year’s event continues the “BUST OUT THE BOX” tradition of blending community outreach and live music to create meaningful change in Colorado Springs and beyond.

The Sarge Announces First-Ever Live Performance of the MHX “Dirty Christmas Classic Collection”

Live at Bust Out the Box 5 – Holiday Special, December 13 at The Wagon Wheel, Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs, CO — The Sarge of THE SARGE LLC is proud to announce that he will be performing songs from his Mountain High X Entertainment Dirty Christmas Classic Collection live for the first time ever at the Bust Out the Box 5 Holiday Special, taking place Saturday, December 13 at The Wagon Wheel in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Originally recorded, produced, and released under Mountain High X Entertainment, Dirty Christmas Classic Collection Vol. 1 debuted in 2018, followed by Vol. 2 in 2019. Though both projects became underground holiday favorites, The Sarge has never before performed these songs live—until now.

“I’m a little nervous doing these songs live for the first time,” The Sarge admits. “But I felt it was finally time to change things up a bit. Time to do my vocal exercises and get ready for December!”

The event marks a special occasion in The Sarge’s ongoing local residency, Bust Out the Box, which has become a platform for community connection and independent music in the Colorado Springs area. This fifth installment will also serve as a holiday charity event, collecting unwrapped toys to be donated to the Childhood Diabetes Foundation (CDF).
